Our client is a brokerage company with three main activities
- Private Asset management
- Institutional Asset Management
- Brokerage

The programme
Petercam is in the process of replacing its information system applications from an inhouse application on AS400 (with several smaller satelite packages) with external packages that are strongly customised to Petercam needs.

This is done in frame of a global programme which is due to go live end of 2009 for Belgium and first semestre 2010 for Luxembourg.

The principal new packages are:
eXimius - front office
GP3/GPMS - front office
Thaler - back office
KeyData - Securities management
Stematch - réconciliation

Current situation
Unit/Modules testing approaches finalisation
The transversal testing phase starts in March 2009 (SIT BE - System & Integration Testing for Belgium)
The SIT for Luxembourg is foreseen to start in last quarter 2009 (preparation SIT LU - still to plan)





Functie-eisen

Role

Test management support (test coordination & issue management)
(part of the test coordination team, attached directly to the Test Programme Manager)

His role is to assist the programme test manager during the transversl tests phases (SIT & UAT)

Some of the tasks expected
- Completing the elaboratation & taking in charge the follow up of the detailed planning for the SIT phase
- Organising the daily execution of scenarios (coordination with the projects test coordinators & testers)
- Following up the SIT progress, defects corrections & deliveries with the help of the different projects test coordinators

- Reporting the progress to the programme test Manager
- Preparation of the following test phases

The mission requires a test manager or a project manager with testing experience (in the financial sector) who will be capable of performing the tasks above

The candidate must be autonomous with communication skills and fluent in English & French. (Dutch is a plus)
