The Security Specialist is a member of a team who proactively supports the Active Security Lifecycle (ASC) of the client infrastructure. This position requires shift work in a 24/7/365 environment.Key Deliverables and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)- Detect, monitor and manage security incidents until resolution- Coordinate escalations to internal support teams to ensure timely delivery of incident resolutions;- Perform network/system/application/log intrusion detection analysis and trending;- Synchronize vulnerability management notifications with known deficiencies using an asset management database;- Monitor for system file integrity changes and correlate the deviations with approved changes and escalate non-approved changes;- Support system and network authentication, authorization and access (AAA) control systems;- Ensure that Service Level Agreements are met.Education and Experience- Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with specialization in Computer Sciences or a related discipline, combined with a minimum of two (2) years of directly related practical experience and demonstrated ability to carry out the functions of the job. OR- Completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in Computer Sciences from a recognized community college, or in a related discipline, combined with a minimum of two (3) years of directly related practical experience and demonstrated ability to carry out the functions of the job. OR - Minimum of four (4) years of directly related practical experience within the last eight years, and demonstrated ability to carry out the functions of the job.- Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with three or more of the following:- System Integrity Verification (SIV) systems (Tripwire);- Intrusion Detection or Prevention Systems (Dragon, Cisco);- UNIX: AIX and SunOS administration experience;- Internet Connectivity and Protocols (TCP/IP stack, VPN);- Firewall administration (Checkpoint SMART, PIX) ;- AAA Administration (ACE/RSA);- Enterprise Security Management systems (Intellitactics Security Manager);- System log forensics (Syslog, Event Viewer)- Remedy IT Service Management.Assets:- ITIL, GCIA, CCNA, CISSP certifications are strong assets;- Gateway and Desktop Anti-virus experience (TrendMicro, Symantec)- PKI administration and support (Entrust) Offer:- 6 months contract- Located in Brussels- Rate: 500€ a day- Start date: ASAPYou are interested in this offer, send me your CV
