Summary of Responsibilities:
Address the analysis phase, the design phase, the validation phase and the documentation phase of Delphi developments.

Major Responsibilities:

Translate the functional requirements into detailed technical specifications to enable development
Design and development of software modules according to the specifications
Provide input to improve the quality and functionality of the development, with the ability to understand the functional process and influence the technical decisions and direction within the application infrastructure
Execute and validate unit and regression tests (in case of modifications to development not limited to the program change itself)
Ensure a good balance between quantity and quality within the development budget
Communicate the development progress and issues to the direct manager
Ensure the use of development standards
Responsible for creating technical documentation
Follow the rules concerning the administrative follow-up of the development tasks
Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams

Requirements:



Skills


5+ years experience in programming in Delphi (experienced developer, very good track record in development and in object oriented programming)
Experience in transferring functional documents into technical analysis documents and ability to analyze and offer/ recommend technical solutions
Familiarity with Windows operating systems
Flexibility and ability to handle multiple assignments and work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines and pressure
Very good communication skills (analytics and synthetics - writing & oral)
Sound knowledge of English (both oral and written)
