Corso is opgericht op 1 April 1991. Ons bedrijfsmodel bestaat uit het het plaatsen van ICT experts in de markt. In de loop de jaren zijn er meer dan 10.000 professionals geregistreerd bij Corso. Onze relaties bevinden zich voornamelijk bij de grote software en systeem bedrijven.

Functional Architect COBEFEJ0208

Context of the mission
Clients department IS Individual Life; is working on a large re-engineering project of its existing back-office-applications. Together with the technical re-engineering, also a lot of functional aspects are re-written and the documentation is updated We are actively searching a functional architect or a functional analyst who will work in the team that is the link between the business team (delivers business requirements) and the IS ‘factory\' (technical analysis &
programming). The main activities of this team are:
- Solution & Application Architecture Design and Analysis
- Documentation (functional or technical)
- Support & Coaching (functional or technical)
- System testing (preparation & execution)
- Define & Improve the process, the tools used in the design phase.

Period mission
Start date: ASAP.
Duration: At least one year with possible extension.

Language requirement
Written and basic spoken knowledge of French and Dutch.
Basic knowledge of English.

Localisation of the job
Mobility: Location Brussels (near North/Central Station)

Objective of the job
Architect/ Designer :
· Understand and participate in the redaction/consolidation of the
business requirement
· Understand the functional and technical architecture
· Realisation of the functional analysis of a specific demand
· Hand-over of the functional analysis to the development team and
deliver further support if necessary
· Preparation (test scenario\'s, test cases) & execution of system
testing (before qualification)
· Definition and improvement of processes, tools used in the design
phase.

Required knowledge and experience
Required level and content of education
- University graduate or professional bachelor with EDP
study program.
Personal skills
Mandatory: - Considerable degree of independency

Business experience required

Mandatory: - Cobol, DB2, Office tools

Functional experience required
Mandatory: - 5 years in Functional Analyses
- Building and construction functional design
Preferable: - Insurance and/or Banking application
