Functiebeschrijving As a member of the Information Services Organization, you will be part of a high performance team which is tasked with the development and deployment of SAP functionality throughout our business units. The primary focus of the team will be on the SAP SD module and the Order-to-Cash process. To deliver our challenging deployment plans, a new role has become available for a Functional Analyst who will participate to those projects. While SAP skills are critical to this role, the key to success also lies in understanding what our business units require, what potential solutions SAP can offer, what impact there might be to business processes, and what it takes to design, configure, test and deploy the preferred solution. Your excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team help you to achieve your goals. Assist in planning phase of SAP projects (scope, conceptual design, blueprint) Gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements (facilitate workshops, design reviews, etc.) Map business requirements into SAP processes and design the solutions. Perform gap analysis and make recommendations about process changes and/or system changes Create functional design for interfaces, forms, conversions and customization Prototype, configure and test solutions in SAP Implement solutions in SAP Prepare training for end-users Document solutions & processes and hand over for support Your customers are the end-users of our SAP solutions and their managers. You also work closely together with other teams and external partners to deliver your goals. Vereisten Language Requirements: Fluent in English is a requirement. French and/or Dutch are preferred Education: You have an academic background or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Affinity with Information Technology. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience with Information Technology, preferably in the applications area A minimum of 2 years of SAP consultancy experience' in the SD module and the OTC process. Participated to at least 1 end-to-end SAP deployment project, having gone through all project phases (planning, blueprint, realization & deployment) SAP certification is a plus Experience in the Consumer Goods Industry is a plus Technical Skills: SAP SD module / OTC process (preferably 4.6c or 4.7) Good knowledge of integration touch points with other SAP modules (e.g. MM, WM, FI) Knowledge of components such as User exits, ABAP or Netweaver is a plus Other Skills: Sense of accountability & responsibility Result oriented Project management skills Analytical & thinking out of the box Team player Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication Training (knowledge transfer) & presentation skills Influencing and persuasive : Able to gain the trust and respect of others through a collaborative and pragmatic approach Affinity to work in large organizations and large projects which span multiple countries and cultures Ability to interact in a corporate and professional manner in commercial customer -and vendor contacts Ability to manage and drive change
