Job Overview \'Provide first level telephone and remote support Information Systems for all our users in Europe & Japan. This involves being able to understand the business needs and priorities and also being able to communicate effectively with the several support channels. Responsibilities ¢ Answering of the phone when a user calls the helpdesk for an inquiry or the reporting of a problem. ¢ Opening of a \'problem ticket\' after obtaining the necessary customer information. ¢ Performing problem determination; diagnosis and resolution of calls ¢ If not resolved on the phone, assign the \'ticket\' to the appropriate 2nd level group. ¢ Monitoring of the open \'tickets\' and proactively update the users with the latest information regarding the status of the problem. ¢ Updating and Closing of problem \'tickets\'. Skill Requirements ¢ Fluent English required. ¢ Fluent Japanees requierd ¢ Knowledge of PC (DOS, Windows 2000, Windows XP) and Microsoft Office. ¢ Good communicator. ¢ Problem solving, logical, persuading, stable, self motivated. ¢ Can-do attitude. ¢ Strong team player. ¢ Strong customer focus. ¢ Patience. ¢ Tolerance to pressure and stress. ¢ Professional attitude. ¢ Attention to detail. ¢ Good analytical approach. ¢ Ability to work with people of different cultures towards achieving a solution.
